ARTIST STATEMENT:
I am moved to paint when light, shadow and color come together in a dynamic way. These paintings represent ideas that caught my imagination and persisted there until I could paint them. Through the challenging mediums of watercolor and collage, I am able to express my interpretation of everyday beauty; brilliant red apples, the blooming desert, weathered wood, an old plow.
